Sabine Christmann has more than fifteen years of professional experience in international companies in the media- and platform industries. As a long-term board member of branch association VPRT and spokesperson of the digital pay-TV providers in Germany, she disposes of a large network in both the free-TV and pay-TV markets.

  • For more than 10 years, Sabine Christmann had been in charge of the “Regulatory & Public Policy” department at pay-TV provider Sky, formerly Premiere. In this role, she was responsible for handling all media policy and regulatory issues of the company. She started her professional career with Kirch Gruppe in 1999.

  • In 2015, she founded TMT Pilot and started providing consultancy services with regard to regulatory and media policy issues as well as program distribution for US media enterprises, German TV channels, and international content producers. 

  • Sabine Christmann is a fully qualified lawyer and holds a Master of LAws (LL.M.) of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). 

  • Furthermore, she has been a board member of branch association VPRT and spokesperson of the German pay-TV providers for several years, served as board member of youth protection/self-regulation institutions FSM and FSF, and was a council member at collecting society VG Media. 

  • For 10 years, she has been a lecturer for broadcasting law at the Institute for Copyright and Media Law. In addition, Christmann has released several specialist publications.
